membership policy

The rampART creative space and social centre was established in good faith as a private non-commercial venue. It is open only to members, associate members and their guests. The public may not enter but membership is totally free and open to all.

Anyone can become an associate member simply by subscribing to our mailing list. We recognise that not everyone has email or wishes to subscribe to additional lists so our constitution says that you can also become an associate member simply by coming into the venue.

  *      It takes 48 hours before membership becomes valid but probationary members may enter the building as guests during those two days.

  *      We operate a distributed non-hierarchical membership list so all members are responsible for remembering their own membership status.

  *      Becoming an associate members does not automatically make a person eligible to be involved in decision making.

  *      Full membership is open to all who support the aims of the group and involve themselves in the work and the decision making processes.
