download mailscanner tarball from http://www.sng.ecs.soton.ac.uk/mailscanner/downloads.shtml ( i get the tar.gz )

This installs into /opt/MailScanner

Read http://www.sng.ecs.soton.ac.uk/mailscanner/install/exim.shtml

particulary the "One Exim configuration file" section
