If you are using horde, you will see a link called "report as spam" once you open up an email that you identify as being spam. By clicking on that link you are reporting that email as spam to the mail administrators, and that will help identifying future spam. By clicking on that link you are not deleting that email from your inbox - that you need to do later.

If you are using Thunderbird, or any other mail client (although we do recommend Thunderbird or any from Mozilla) you probably need to add the plugin to be able to "bounce" or "redirect" emails; you can easily download it from here:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/550

Once you have this, what you do is redirect the email you identify as spam to: spam-bim@burngreave.net

Please be sensible and do not report as spam emails that come from political campaigning groups. If you do not want to receive such emails, notify them or unsubscribe yourself, but do not report them as spam because the consequence may be that further emails from them will never be received by other activists that do want to receive them.
