Face-2-Face Gatherings

The most recent gathering occurred in Leeds in October at the UK tech meeting/Indymedia gathering. There were a few people there over two days and a whole host of new faces, which was great to see. Several new projects were discussed.

Before that, it was AktiviX:AktiviX_II in Sheffield, September 2004. There was a loose proposal for AktiviX:AktiviX_III to be held in connection with a hacklab in Lancaster in February, 2006 organised by a by a local group. In the end the HackLab went ahead without Aktivix branding, but many aktivixi people were there.

There has been talk of InfoSeed in Edinburgh hosting an Aktivix event but there are no plans yet.
